FOR EVENT PRODUCERS & EXHIBITORS

Robots for events.
Start with the setting.

A memorable demonstration starts with a workable event brief. Explore what to ask before considering a humanoid for a trade-show stand, conference or controlled exhibition.

No rental, staffing or confirmed availability is offered. This is a starting point for a requirements conversation.

01 / FRAME THE REQUIREMENTS

The venue comes before the robot.

For a public event, the central question is not just what a robot can do. It is whether the exact demonstration can be operated responsibly in your space, with your audience and schedule.

01

Define the demonstration zone.

Describe the usable floor area, surface, obstacles, access routes and where spectators will stand. A clear audience boundary is different from leaving a robot to move through a busy aisle.

Can your venue accommodate a separated demonstration area?

02

Plan the whole show day.

A repeated stand demonstration has different demands from one short stage appearance. Include setup, rehearsal, session length, breaks, charging arrangements and secure storage in the brief.

How many sessions are planned, and how long is each one?

03

Name the responsible people.

Before any live use, the buyer needs qualified operation and continuous supervision appropriate to the robot, a documented risk assessment, venue approval and a clear stop procedure.

Who will own operation, audience management and the go/no-go decision?

02 / RESEARCH THE PLATFORM

Compare platforms.
Not promises.

These models are in the RobotSpace catalogue. Their dimensions and configuration differences can inform early research, but neither listing is a recommendation for unsupervised or close-contact event use.

Unitree · CATALOGUE REFERENCE

Unitree G1

A 132 cm humanoid, approximately 35 kg with battery. Start here to examine the physical footprint and the distinction between base and development configurations.

Ask whether the exact proposed demonstration is supported on the supplied configuration.

Unitree · CATALOGUE REFERENCE

Unitree R1

A smaller humanoid family, listed at 123 cm. R1 Air, R1 and R1 EDU differ; secondary development is an EDU capability.

Do not assume a smaller robot removes the need for separation, qualified operation or testing.

RobotSpace is an independent reference catalogue with no confirmed reseller relationship. Model details, delivered functions, regional supply, pricing and availability require separate confirmation. Manufacturer references checked 23 October 2026. 1X positions NEO for home use; we do not assume it is suitable for public demonstrations.

03 / SET THE BOUNDARIES

Choose the right format first.

Controlled live demonstration

Consider only after the exact robot, routine, operator and venue have passed a project-specific assessment.

Static display or recorded demonstration

A useful alternative to assess when the space, supervision or timeline cannot support live motion. Permissions and logistics still need checking.

04 / PREPARE YOUR ENQUIRY

Bring a brief, not just a date.

These details make an initial enquiry more useful. You do not need to upload visitor information or personal attendee data.

Open the enquiry form
  1. Event type, date, country and venue
  2. Audience size, age range and expected crowd flow
  3. Floor plan dimensions, surface and spectator boundary
  4. Exact action you want to demonstrate, not just “AI interaction”
  5. Session length, frequency, setup and rehearsal windows
  6. Your technical operator, risk-assessment owner and venue constraints
  7. Budget scope, including any external operation, transport and integration costs
CLEAR ANSWERS

Before you enquire.

Can I rent or book a robot through this page?

No. RobotSpace is an independent robot catalogue with payment for confirmed purchase quotations. This page does not offer rental packages, staffed event services, confirmed stock or an availability calendar. An enquiry is not a reservation or order.

Can a humanoid mingle with visitors or shake hands?

Do not assume that it can. Unitree warns that people must remain at a sufficient safe distance from G1 and R1. Close-contact concepts require specialist assessment against the manufacturer’s instructions; this guide does not establish that they are permissible.

Is a listed battery runtime enough to plan a full day?

No. A reference runtime is not a guarantee for your routine or venue. Confirm operation time, charging, breaks and the selected configuration with the relevant supplier and qualified operator before fixing the schedule.

Is NEO an event robot?

1X presents NEO as a home robot. RobotSpace does not infer public-event suitability from its household features, so it is not included as an event recommendation here.

YOUR NEXT STEP

Let’s start
with your brief.
